Samuel, NOYO Musician

What I like about NOYO: What I like about NOYO is the teamwork and bond you feel with your fellow ensemble members. I believe the opportunities NOYO provides helps to inspire young musicians from all different types of backgrounds and experiences.

More about me:As well as playing bassoon in the NOYO ensemble I also play in Bridgend County Youth Orchestra and for my school. A highlight was taking part in Music For Youth Prom at the Royal Albert Hall. I also play piano as part of the Rebbeca Hurn Music School and have started learning bass guitar.

I like music of all different genres and have a generally eclectic taste with very few genres I find I do not enjoy. As well as music, I enjoy playing sport. I play rugby and enjoy going to the gym. When I’m not playing music or rugby, I like to volunteer at a local museum as I am passionate about preserving and sharing my local history.
